Originally from South Florida and NYC, Tracy is a seasoned photography expert and an 18-year resident of Bloomfield, bringing over 25 years of experience in the the production industry. With an extensive background in corporate commercial and advertising photography, she has managed large-scale projects and led teams with creativity and precision.

Beyond her professional career in photography, Tracy has dedicated 11 years to education as a higher-level art instructor at Pratt Institute, mentoring students and fostering artistic growth. Recognizing education as a vital foundation for a thriving society, she has combined her artistic expertise with advocacy and entrepreneurship. As the founder of Cupid and Psyche Beauty, an eco-friendly and cruelty-free lipstick company supporting wildlife charities, her work has been featured in Nordstrom, Forbes, The New York Times, and Travel & Leisure. This venture reflects her commitment to environmental sustainability and animal rights.

Tracy currently holds a B.S. in Fine Arts from Florida State University and an A.A.S. in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Passionate about advocacy, she was deeply influenced by her mother, a lifelong feminist and activist for women’s rights, animal welfare, and environmental protection. Currently, she serves as Secretary of the Bloomfield Animal Shelter Advisory Board (2023–2025) and was instrumental in founding the Bloomfield Flood Mitigation Advisory Board, where she now serves as Chair. Additionally, as an elected Democratic District Leader for Ward 3-2, she remains engaged in local governance and community initiatives.

In her free time, she enjoys yoga (and is also a certified vinyasa instructor), singing, and supporting the arts. Residing in the 3rd Ward with her husband and their two cats, she remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact in both as a creative and activist.

  • As the current Secretary of the Bloomfield Animal Shelter Advisory Committee (2022-2025), I am dedicated to advocating for the protection and well-being of animals.

    My platform focuses on enacting meaningful protections for wildlife and local animal shelters, as well as ensuring their continued improvement.

    Key priorities include:

    Collaborating with local legislators to enact stronger protections for animals.

    Championing the upgrade and expansion and modernization of our local shelter facilities.

    Addressing the human dimensions of animal welfare, including education and community engagement.

  • Advocate for the Rent Leveling Board to address the critical shortage of affordable housing in Bloomfield. Ensure that policies support the needs of renters while maintaining housing stability.

    Oppose any measures that increase taxes on homeowners and advocate for thorough budget reassessments when such proposals are presented, ensuring financial responsibility and fairness for all residents.

  • Advocate for the establishment of a Bloomfield Arts Center, fostering local creativity and engagement. Encourage the expansion of public art and murals throughout the town to enhance our community’s aesthetic and cultural vibrancy.

  • As the current chair of the Bloomfield Flood Advisory Committee, I am seeking a large role at Council At Large to platform proactive flood mitigation and climate change resilience. I am committed to protecting both communities and the environment through sustainable solutions.

    Empowering communities to lead local green infrastructure efforts with the necessary resources and support.

  • As a commuter of 18 years from Bloomfield to Manhattan, I am committed to being a strong advocate for our local transportation needs. I will work tirelessly to address the pressing issues that affect our daily commute by engaging directly with local officials and transportation agencies to ensure our voices are heard. Through community meetings, social media campaigns, and local media outreach, I will raise awareness and foster open dialogue. By participating in public hearings and joining existing advocacy groups, I will propose concrete, actionable solutions to improve public transportation accessibility.
